New items, including holiday gift items

We've been adding to our inventory and carrying several new items.

Winter is coming, and the temperatures are turning colder. How to stay warm becomes a more poignant question. We now carry BrightGarage Solar Air Heater system, made in New Hampshire. Think of these as "sun-room attachments" with two major differences - you don't get the nice light a sunroom adds, but you don't get the heat loss of a sunroom either. On sunny days, the system pumps hot air into your house, reducing your need for fossil fuel heating.

We also have water heater insulating blankets and pipe insulation - 15% off all December. The major heat loss for hot water systems is the tank, which you spend so much money filling with heat, leaks. The blanket helps trap the heat inside the water tank, wehre you want it. Speaking of saving heat in terms of water - we have expanded our range of low-flow showerheads.

For those who use woodstoves, in addition to our EcoFans that create their own electricity to circulate the woodstove's hot air, we have HearthFresh air quality improvers, and Scovescents to add a pleasant aroma to you home.

We have added to our science kit lineup with "Global Warming" and "Milestones in Science", as well as the entire series of "Green Science Kits" - Windmill Generator, Tin Can Robot, Dynamo Tourch and Amphibian Rover. For our Solar Toys line-up we have added Turbo 3000 and Knight Invader solar powered vehicles.

Recently we had a windstorm in the Lakes Region which knocked the power out for many folks. We now carry affordable battery back-up systems that will provide electricity for up to 70 minutes after the power goes out - enough to finish that movie you are watching, or time to complete and save the document you are working on on the computer. We also have Smart Strip power strips that help save you energy, and have a $10 rebate too.

Lastly, we carry several solar lights - like the Brinkmann Solar Security Light with motion detector for spots you want light when you (or someone else) enters a certain area. This is especially convenient if you need the light at a location that doesn't currently have electrical power. We also have solar accent lights to light your walkway, and solar powered outdoor holiday light strings.

Come on down and check out ll these new items, and the current ones too.
