Spring cleaning - and new items

We are going through the annual transition of putting away the winter items and bring out the summer items. Lawnmowers are now on display, the drying racks are reappearing in the light, and new items are filling the shelves.

The specials this month (15% off regular price) are Solar Toys, Rain Barrels, and the last of the ComfortZone heaters before they go into hiding for the summer. Solar Toys help kids learn about solar energy while having a fun time. We have several varieties of solar cars, as well as many other small solar kits that a child 8 and up can put together themself and then immediately play with. Rain Barrels hold the run-off from your roof and can them be used on the garden or lawn, instead of using town or well water. ComfortZone Infrared Heaters make speces of up to 1000 sq ft cozy warm, while allowing you to keep the heat down in other ares of your home.

New for spring - corn brooms to sweep your floor or sidewalk - American-made from natural fibers. In addition to our drying racks, we now carry coat peg racks from a Maine lumber company. We carry a new line-up of NatureMill Indoor composters - compost right in your kitchen (with no smell) and use the soil in just a few months to nourish you garden or lawn.

We also are carrying a few more games. The Ultimate Spinner game is a wooden game set with 12 different games rolled into one package. Tektolio is a fascinating game with a dream-like quality to it (probably because the designer says it came to him in a dream). Its a board game..on an eight-sided board..."because 4 sides is jst two square" (2 2). We also have Bioviva - an Eco-trivia board game, and coming soon "Diamond Bridges (available early April). If you have a hankering for a game out of the ordinary, check these out!
